to keep up to date with happenings here at Messmore. Learn about the status of events,
ask questions, request allocations and ultimately share thoughts and ideas. A typical
meeting lasts 1 hour. Upcoming tentative dates for the 2011-2012 school year are

The Messmore Montessori Association (MMA) is a parent volunteer group for our school.
Our objectives:
-To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of the children. -To provide the parents of the community with information promoting the Montessori history, philosophy and method of education. -To foster the opportunity for communication between the parents and the school in all areas of mutual interest. -To provide, through fundraisers, financial aid for supplemental materials, equipment or projects, which will benefit the students of Messmore Montessori School. The MMA sponsors several fundraisers and events each year. Our purpose is to determine how our General Fund can be best allocated to directly benefit our students and teachers. Monies raised fund teachers/classrooms/media center supplies, and educational, competitive and school events. Below are volunteer opportunities, with signup sheets located in front lobby.
